Miraculous Movements: How Hundreds of Thousands of Muslims Are Falling in Love with Jesus By Jerry Trousdale

“Miraculous Movements: How Hundreds of Thousands of Muslims Are Falling in Love with Jesus” By Jerry Trousdale is a phenomenal book. Before I get started, let me explain something real quick:  I am receiving this book for free from the Thomas Nelson publishing company through the booksneeze blogger programme in exchange for an honest review. I am under no obligation to give this book a positive review, so everything you read here is completely my own opinion.

So I got this book basically after reading the overview: “How do the people most resistant to the transformative power of the gospel come to be its most devoted followers?Miraculous Movement’ recounts an amazing change taking place within Muslim communities where the truth of Jesus Christ is turning around the lives of many thousands of Muslims from more than twenty people groups. Discover through the sometimes humorous, often sobering, but always enlightening and encouraging true stories how imams, sheikhs, and entire mosques are forsaking Islam and embracing Christ.”

Being someone who has studied Islam for apologetic purposes, I was intrigued. I haven’t really read into how the Christian faith affected ex-Muslims. I got the book and was extremely pleased. I loved this book- it’s honest, well written, at times funny, and just a very good book. I love it and I give it four out of five stars.

Surprised by Laughter by Terry Lindvall

I’ve always been a fan of C. S. Lewis. He was, simply put, a brilliant mind with a thrillingly whimsical side. Combining in his published arsenal both deep theological works as well as fantastic fantasy, C. S. Lewis was truly a great man. However, as much as I had like his works, I never knew much about the man behind the books. I understood his conversion, and some basic knowledge, but really knowing what the man was about? I had no clue. This book lets you understand more of Lewis’ style in writing, his humour, etc. If you are a fan of C. S. Lewis, I would sincerely recommend this book- but you really have to be a devoted fan. This is a lengthy novel and requires a good chunk of time to actually read the thing. However, I found it well worth the read and I give it a good four out of five stars!

Just so you all know, just to clarify, I received this book for free from the publisher through the Thomas Nelson booksneeze blogger program. I was not required to give this a positive review, this is one hundred percent my own honest opinion. For sure!
