Good evening, friends! I’ve received a book from booksneeze, “This Thing of Ours,” by Cammy Franzese. Before I get started, though, I need to let everyone know that I received this book for free from the publisher through the booksneeze blogging program, and I am under no legal obligation to give this book a good review. Anything that I say is completely my own opinion and how I legitimately feel about it. Now, anyway, I honestly ordered this book because I legitimately thought that it was fiction. When the newsletter for December came in at the beginning of the month, I had no idea that this was a true story. Maybe it said it in the newsletter and I just didn’t pay attention, but no matter. This was a pretty cool book. It is about a woman who is married to a mafia guy, and how God keeps their marriage together. But I just couldn’t understand how a woman could marry a guy that she knew was a criminal. But maybe that’s just me. However, I did enjoy this book, I really did. It was interesting, and because I don’t live in a place where organized crime is an everyday occurrence, this was fascinating for me. I give it four out of five stars.
